ARE THEY OUR ANCESTORS?

My camera captured these lovely photographs in WII campus, just outside my hostel. These creatures are also at the tip of evolution, in their own linage. Sometimes, perhaps, we think that the ultimate product of evolution is human beings. But its not true. We think so only because we are highly advanced in terms of development of brain. In other terms,

we may be far behind. For example, in terms of social development, many insects are highly developed. Best example is Honey Bee. In terms of social development it has evolved so well that many scientists consider them as superorganisms. In terms of social delopment we have evolved well, but still very very far away from honey bee, an invertebrate.

There always have been a great conflict between religion and science over idea of organic evolution. Science believes in the concept of evolution. In fact, it is the very basic idea of life science. But religion has a very different idea. Almost all religions believe that the very early ancestors of any species were also of that same species. That is, nothing did change over the coarse of billion of years. I have heard few people to say that Charles Darwin's ancestors might have been monkeys but our were humans only. Here I wish to add that, even science does not say that monkeys were our forefathers. You may think how? Science did never say that monkeys were our ancestors. It actually says that monkeys and humans are close on evolutionary scale and both share a common ancestry a little past in the history as compared to, lets say, much more farther common ancestry of humans and snakes. Monkeys themselves must have changed a lot after getting branched from human lineage. So how can today's monkeys be our ancestors? I am also religious, but more spiritual than religious. I can not close my eyes for well established facts. I think no religion says not to use analytical brain. So we must stand unite to support evolutionary science. The rule of change is applicable everywhere, i think. Once i was in trouble because some change was bound to happen in my life. I was not ready to face that change, which was sure to come. At that time, one of my friend explained me that the 'Only permanent thing thing in this universe is change.' So support idea of dynamic nature of life. Even bhagwan krishan has said, "CHANGE IS THE RULE OF NATURE."
